A rare undated image of Alwalton Lynch that shows more than just the usual riverside walk. The buildings high above the river would likely be part of Alwalton Manor House.
Note the appalling state of the river which at this time was barely navigable and required significant re-engineering in the 1930s to create the river that we are familiar with today.
