Looking down North Street in Stilton towards The Bell which would be just out of shot in the distant left. The bay windowed house on the right is still standing today (2013) as are many of the other buildings in shot.

Talbot Inn, Stilton

The Talbot Inn in Stilton, past and present with the older image possibly dating to the 1940s.

The Talbot is one of Stilton’s oldest public houses, believed to date back back to the late 1600s.

No details and no date for this one which was taken on the occasion of the opening of Stilton Memorial Hall which was dedicated to “the men who fell from Stilton, Folksworth, Morbourne, Washingley, Denton and Caldecot”.
