Charles Weber, Watchmaker & Jeweller (1890s)

A fascinating collection of backing papers salvaged from pocket watches sold by German born Charles Weber who ran his watch making and jewelry business from 26 Narrow Bridge Street from the 1870s.

All three watches belonged to Thomas Seaton who, despite mention of Thorney, was a farmer in Gedney Hill where he was born in 1852.
