A lovely piece of Peterborough ephemera dating back to 1889. This wrapper would have carried a copy of the Bristol Mercury to George Sidney Carver at Princess Villas on Park Road.
George was a “Commissions Agent” and was born in Bristol so clearly wanted to keep up with news from back home !
