Dr Walker – Freedom of the City (1915)

The occasion of Dr Thomas James Walker being granted the Freedom of the City on his 80th birthday on 18th August 1915.

A well respected surgeon, physician and antiquarian, Walker was the first non-Londoner to be made a fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons and was involved in medical practice in the city until his death at his Westgate home in 1916.
