A battered but priceless photograph taken of Victorian Peterborough in 1880.
The old photo is stamped “GL Julyan” which refers to George Langham Julyan who was a mens outfitter based on Fitzwilliam Street. It is highly likely that this was an advertising stamp as there is no evidence of George ever being a photographer.
