9F at New England Yard

The 9F class were introduced in the 1950s to provide the ability to move long, heavy freight trains over long distances. The 66 foot long, 140 ton (inclusive of tender), twelve wheeled (2-10-0) 9Fs lasted through to 1968 with nine surviving into preservation.
