An excellent Edwardian image showing the Lynch at Alwalton, a hugely popular location for strolling along the banks of the Nene. Today it is hard to see where such strolls took place as the tidy bankside pictured above has long since been reclaimed by undergrowth leaving just a narrow track running higher up the slope.
