Class 37 #37092 waiting to pass Peterborough station on a northbound working off the March – Peterborough line in 1987.
Members of the class were a familiar sight in the city for many years with this particular battle hardened engine surviving through to withdrawal from service in 1996 after which it met its maker at a scrapyard in Stockton in 2001.
