Looking along East Street in Crowland with the George Hotel on the right – now the Abbey Hotel.
The premises in the foreground right belonged to bootmaker and tobacconist William Perkins and his wife Elizabeth. The shop also sold local postcards produced by their son Herbert who was a photographer.
