An early 1900s photo taken in Surrey but featuring a young lady who was to become mayor of Peterborough in the 1940s, Lily Violet Bryant. The photo was taken by Mr Bartholomew of Jubilee Street, Woodston who was the mayor-to-be’s chauffeur at the time.
