An interesting view along Long Causeway that shows what appears to be a random building blocking the route in the distance. Broadway was then a narrower road at this end of the city hence the lack of a clear route through as you get today. Work was carried out in 1904 to demolish these buildings and widen Broadway so that the two roads fell into perfect alignment.
