The railways as they used to be in Peterborough with L.N.E.R. 4-6-0 Class B17 61654 “Sunderland” turning up from Peterborough East station (background right) under Town Bridge and towards Peterborough North station on 29th August 1959.

The line heading straight down in the image is what is now the preserved Nene Valley Railway and the current Peterborough NVR station would be a short distance below this image.
