View from the Nene (1932)

A June 1932 view from the north side of the Nene just above Town Bridge and looking towards the distant LNWR loco depot which was eventually demolished (long after it fell out of use) to make way for the railway museum (Railworld) which now occupies the site.

There appears to be a lot of work taking place on the bridge linking Peterborough North to Peterborough East.
