The end of one of the three tram routes out of Peterborough in Walton. Today you would be looking back along Lincoln Road towards the city with the old Royal Oak pub in the foreground left.
Walton’s first electricity supply came via the tramway system which was great until the trams finished for the day, at which point all power ceased !
