Werrington, Cock Inn c.1906

The corner of Lincoln Road, looking towards Church Street. The Cock Inn remains today but The Wheatsheaf, across the road, was converted to a private dwelling c.1913 and was later demolished in order to widen Lincoln Road.

The small building to the right of The Wheatsheaf did survive and today does a roaring trade as the local Fish & Chip shop !
