William Steel, Fishmonger (c.1901)

It is not often that these Victorian/Edwardian studio portraits can be attributed to an individual but research based on notes on the back of this one shows that the two individuals are William Steel (1853-1916) and his daughter Florence. The portrait is from around 1901.

The family were based at 23 Whalley Street and William was a fishmonger originating from Bourne.
